New 06 CL65 owner
New to forum and wanted to share that I am taking delivery of this low mile 2006 CL65 on Monday in south FL. Very excited and can't wait.
- What does everyone feel about future values of the 65's?
- How many 2006's are in the US?

We own ours since 2008 and it still an incredible machine.

A total of 777 CL65 (C215) were built world-wide.
194 of them went to the US.
Such a rare car.
Enjoy this Beauty

Definitely the one to keep for as long as possible, as resale value of these cars rapidly approaching zero...

Aside from slightly wider tires, 255/285, I would like to consider a eurocharged ecu/tcu. Also ordered K&N's on amazon. 5% tint all around, 50% on windshield. Possibly a black wrap since black was my first choice.
Aside that, I truly don't think this thing needs anything else

$30k is such a bargain for this car which was costing new $190k in the US...
In Europe, the price was around 220k € so it was more expensive, current prices are around 50k-60k € (that makes $60k so the double than the US !)

No doubt that value will start increasing very soon, this car is already a classic... and they are sooooo rare !
Would like to fix the scuffs on the wheels eventually but I'm not picky since this car is 10 years old.

Thank you!! Love the car, especially for the $$$.
RoadHazard bought my car so I miss it a lot. I should be first on the list if he goes and wants to sell it back.
I am looking at CL65's and was wondering what it is going to take to keep one alive. I am familiar with the suspension and Arnott has re-stocked the cupboard with replacement OEM struts. Is this V12 more checkbook friendly than the W140 cars? I also have a W140 S500 Grand Edition so I am familiar with Mercedes crazy engineering. The 2000-2006 Benz's are well known for electrical issues so I wondered how the CL's measured up.
Thanks,
Mark
