BLOWN DEAD END ABC HOSE / PRIMED PUMP
Sooner or later your main ABC hose will blow off. I had a hose made about 18 months ago and the idea was to replace the old one before it failed.
Well as it seems to go I didn't install it. Today the hose coming from the pump failed.
i installed the new hose but the car wouldn't rise or fall and the big red ABC message was staying on. I felt the pump needed priming. I pressurized the reservoir with a small air compressor. After that the system came to life and all seems good.
FYI,
Pressurizing the reservoir with an electric tire pump, approx 15 psi thought I would share that with the forum.

Been driving the car today and the pump is making a slight whining sound at higher rpm. looks like its time to replace it. Going to order a rebuilt unit, any advise as where to buy ?? I have over 100k on this pump so its really overdue. I've owned this car since 2011 and its really grown on me. I haven't driven any other car that gives me the scene of control this one does.

My pump would be great if I had replaced the hose before it blew and ran the PUMP dry !!!!!!! Im going with a rebuilt unit. Pray for me LOL I am sure its a gamble but I got the pump and have a good feeling about it. It spins nicely, firm and consistent. The thing is the steering side is making noise on mine now after the blown hose.
