Well she is sold. Its kinda sad as I really love the car and to me its very special. The new owner will love and take care of it though. I am really gonna miss her though.
Congrats on the sale. You will miss the car for about a minute or until you drive a faster car. Next time you buy an unfamiliar brand, listen to the forum regulars. We could have saved you a bunch of money and a lot of disappointment.
I spoke with Marcin (sill trying to get back the money they owe me), only two people there now and they are removing everything and selling it. Lifts, dyno, CNC machine, everything.
If there is truth to this that kinda blows. I had some work done by them a while back and drove down for some service work too. Its been a while since I was there and spoke with anyone there. If they really are planning on finishing up that will really be a sad day for the MB community. Yes getting a hold of his is hard at times, but we had very few choices for our M275 as far as parts/hardware goes and now we might be left with almost none. Nobody really wants to work on the v12 let alone deal with performance on the platform.

renntech kleemann carlsson brabus etc all will modify the v12, of course they are much more expensive but you get what is promised
so the question is - is it better to have a lower priced tuning shop in business that has screwed up many cars , or is better they shut down leaving only the more expensive but reputable tuners still standing ?
can't believe this is where i'm reading about how SpeeDriven is closing up. That's horribly concerning, especially considering all the work they had just finished up for me in the fall. Any more information on this?
Well I am now over them and ruining my dream build so I went ahead and bought what I originally wanted to do this build with and got a W215. Its not a CL65 but a CL600. 2003 in Tektight Gray Metallic with black interior and around 95k miles. Love the car and have to do some minor repairs and one big one which is why I was able to get it for what I thought was a good price considering it does not have a single rock chip or anything. ABC/Steering pump whines after getting on it a few times so since the struts appear newish (engine was dusty but strut tops were clean and shiny) I want to fix that before it becomes an issue. I also think its already had the ignition coil replaced but will know for sure when Eurocharged does its tune as I will be installing new plugs with a slightly tighter gap. So ceramic tint, ceramic treat the leather and paint, remove one pair of mufflers and then do the ECU/TCU and call it a day. Not gonna do intercoolers or intake pipes or even downpipes. Just a simple 600 flywheel HP build and enjoy the car. As long as it runs low 12's I am happy.
My 600 went 12.4 bone stock. I did catless downpipes and tune, and the car flies for a stock car. Nice pickup, if you don't mind, what did you pay for it? Tectite/black is a great color combo, and hard to find.
The coils will end in 680/780 part # if they are newer, you can see the labels on them when installed, on the back end. If they are the earlier 480/580 numbers, yes they will probably need to be replaced.
Saw the mods on the online ad, and driving home from the Sonoma Raceway I stopped to look at it and really, really wanted to fall in love with it. Seeing it in person, I knew there would be a risk of buying someone elses expensive heartache. Saw the work and parts put into it and figured I'd find a thread on it on a MB forum, and found this thread! This thread scares the hell out of me. High boost, super expensive car, no warranty, sad story with a tuner now out of business.
Been through a similar experience with a C5 and had a horrible vendor experience with morons at a company called Texas Speed which pretty much ended my Corvette hobby.
