Looks amazing. Even though it has low miles, you will most likely still need to replace a bunch of the rubber items since it degrades with age. Not sure it's worth that much of a premium over one that's been driven unless you will not drive it much and buying it more as a collectable.

It's an amazing looking car. But like BlownV8 said, it's a premium that you are going to pay for the low miles. Also, speaking from experience, you will need to change plenty of items because of age. But they are incredible cars and you won't be disappointed with the performance.....it is truly amazing.

Thank you for the quick response!
Actually, I am planning to drive the car daily

Can you, gentlemen, possibly give me an idea on the cost of the parts that will require replacement no matter what?
Is it 1-5K or 10-20K?
Trying to make sense of the financial side of this deal...

Thank you for all your help!

Definitely in beautiful condition and wonderful car from the pics. In my opinion, given the fact that you will daily, the price premium at the asking price is not worth it compared to other cars that have recently been for sale. I recall late last year seeing a few with less than 40k miles one with 29k for below 30k. If you daily this car, the miles will be added quickly and the premium you pay will end up being on top of parts costs. But again, depends on your preference as the condition and how you feel in the car is the most important. If I were burying the car, I would look to get it for 35k or less -that is my two cents.

As for parts and age, I would say up to 60k miles your looking at 1-5k but obviously this could go higher if big ticket items fail and you have a dealer do the work. I would recommend flushing abc fluid even with low miles in order to prolong equipment, also could put fresh fluids around just with age. Good idea to inspect ABC lines that run in front of engine as Mercedes updated the hoses and if you changed these as preventative maintenance you can extend the life of the ABC pump.

One other issue, and this is me being paranoid but with the cost of these engines I feel like its a good idea, if I were you I would think about taking fuel injectors out and sending for a full clean service. There is company near long beach that does this and its like $25 per injector. The problem is that with the increase ethanol in the fuel these days and the fact that this car has not been driven much, it increases the risk that you could have a stuck injector and then a blown engine in the worst case scenario. Sounds like overkill but this engine is bulletproof in general and this is one of the few ways that they have failed. The injector shop talked at lengths about how cars that are not driven as often are more at risk as the fuel sits in the injector and can gum it up-they see it I guess in Ferraris and lambos.

Best of luck; the Cl65 is a monster of a car and such a joy to drive.

Coil packs were also updated so budget around $3-$5k for those when they fail. If I purchased the car, I would.change all the ABC lines, flush the ABC fluid, transmission fluid and filter change, as well as an oil change.

All in, you will need to spend around $5k right away and maybe more if the dealer does the work and then another $4k+ down the road for the coil packs and spark plug change. Regardless of mileage, the car will be expensive to keep on the road. The V12 CL makes a horrible daily driver due to the maintenance costs. I drove mine to around 100k miles and the repair/maintenance costs exceeded $20k after the 50k mile mark.

MB’s of all kinds.
Car is stunning! I would flush ALL fluids out of the car. ABC, Coolant, oil, ect as well like blown V8 said. I did that when I bought my 06 CL600. I had 0 clue on what had been done. Car was 100% in working order ABC as well. My local MB shop just told me flush everything and change the filters just to be safe. 0 Issues. It will cost a little bit if you are not able to DIY but I would sleep really good at night knowing I had fresh everything.

Damn! That is crazy! I am glad I do not DD my CL600. Maybe 2,000 miles a year if that.
