Just installed the Willall Racing air inlet kit. It is a GREAT mod! Drastically improved the sound of the turbo spooling up, and even gives a slight blow off valve sound also! Throttle response and power are noticeable differences as well. Martin from Willall provided me with excellent customer service, and I'd recommend him and the inlet kit as a must have! i just thoguht about this, but can't you just widen out the stock inlets hole? starting a thread.
That piece is Cnc machined to an exact measurement Down to hundredths of a mm to be able to fit snug with the custom sized filter. See how the filter opening is bigger to match the size of the new "restrictor"? You can dremel it out but you won't get a perfect fit like that and would likely have air leaks not something I'd try on 60+K car

I think it is possible to dremel out the restrictor smoothly, but I don't think you can find a twist-on filter to match the enlarged intake.
Most aftermarket filters are clamp-on, not twist-on.
