Boost Gauge?

Is there a boost pressure gauge for M133 engines yet? Figured with the high boost of our engines it's pretty important to keep an eye on it especially with mods/tunes...haven't been able to find anything though...anyway to access the ECU reading through a diagnostic mode?

I don't think anyone has released a cla45 specific gauge that fits in Ac vent or something bespoke. You can probably use an electronic gauge and plug into the obdii port to read boost or you can deff use the tried and true method of getting a dedicated boost gauge from a company like DEFI and have it installed to tap into the intake manifold or somewhere to physically read boost. This works for any turbo car

Yea something that could read boost from ECU/OBDII port would be exactly what I need...id rather not install a permanent boost gauge and my benz look like a ricey STi that i came from

I wish they included an analog one in the dash (Saab Turbo-style) but it would have been even better if they'd included a performance settings menu on the center screen (like they do in other AMG cars or even the new C300) that included a boost gauge (among other things).

I wonder how difficult it would be for one of the companies who has cracked the ECU to code a boost gauge into one of the menus on the dashboard (e.g., the AMG menu). Aaaah, wishful thinking.

Funny you mention this as this is what I'm working on right now...already have various OBD2 data displayed on the command screen including boost pressure.

Boost via OBD is clipped at 1.55bar so it's pretty useless, unless you can access the internal boost reading that the ECU is seeing.

Thats what I'm working on, just have to find the custom PID for it.

IMO digital boost gauges are not that great for boost. You really need an analogue display to better see what's going on with boost.
