Very JAZZED!!! the store where I bought this has a "Shop Sale" car that the GM has allowed me to drive twice now. It does not have the dynamic package but everything else that I ordered and a few other options. Both test drives have been a blast and this car is stupid quick...especially for what it is (4 pot turbo) and also consider the test car is not not even broken in yet. I love the sound upon hard up shifts...reminds me of my 991 C4S. I know people have been questioning the sound but in the cabin it sounds really good and DOES NOT sound anything like a 4 pot...LOL
Also yesterday while sitting at a light during the test drive a Black GTS went by and the guy totally slowed down to check out the CLA45 AMG!!!
Car looks really good with the Aero and Night package!
looks great! Just got mine 2 weeks ago. fully loaded spec. Very happy with it. I Miss my c63 engine but this does the trick.
I am doing new turbos and a tune from renntech and this thing will be a little rocket soon!

Yes I will miss my C63S V8 also for what it was but I think this is more of the direction that MB is going with AMG...heck Alfaterbach built a whole new building just to build the M139 motors...must have big plans for this motor???
I too plan to do a Renntech tune after a while (at least the first service...LOL) but probably won't do DP's because this will be my daily.
Yes I am in the US and I went and looked at the MB explanation for AMG Ride Control here in the US.
It does not specifically mention it being 15MM lower???
Exactly! Lots of conflicting information out there and I’d like to get this straight. In the UK, the AMG literature says that the AMG Ride Control option 459 has 15mm lower suspension than the 486 AMG Sports Suspension.
I’m worried that his informational is not made available to other markets and would be owners miss out on the factory lowering.

Any updates on your order? I placed an order around the same time as you and I've just been told I should expect my car in October but no word on when it's actually going into production/finished build date.
Also, did you have 3U7 - TBD listed under option on your PO?

They haven’t even given you a production date...? That seems, off?
I put my order in June 11th, production was completed August 13th. Awaiting word on shipping, hopefully its already on its way or will be shortly.
My car is going to be a 2021 MY. Granted, my dealership said they had an allocation already and gave me that. Not sure how much that effects production date if at all.
Still, seems crazy you have not gotten word on an upcoming production date at the very least.
Unfortunately, I'm working with a very incompetent dealer that I have to nag for updates. I literally just got the PO yesterday after placing the order at the end of June. Have you heard anything on pricing? The PO I got had a placeholder MSRP of 99,999 and some weird 3U7 - TBD option.

There's sometimes "TDB" internal options on the build sheets. This was on the 2020 sheet as well. Guess they still haven't figured out what to name it.

Nope, same thing for me. MB needs to finalize pricing for the 2021 first, but it should be very close to the MY2020.
I know approximately what mine will cost, just configure it online or use the 2020 dealer order guide to estimate it.
Also who knows, but all our orders might be delayed because of covid.
Here in the UK we have two versions of the 45S. Normal cars get standard AMG suspension and Premium cars get Ride Control.
Below you can see the two side by side. Personally I don't see any difference between the two ride heights. But our brochure does mention shorter spring courses. I've included the text from the brochure beneath each image.
For reference, both wheels are 19" x 8.5J ET46 but the tyre sizes are different. 225/35 on the left and 255/35 on the right. (These are also both A45s rather than CLA45s but the point remains the same)
Just an fyi, my dealer contacted me to let me know my car still hasn’t shipped. Supposedly they have a bunch of delayed cars and shipments atm, no further details.

Hey all...my car is built as of 8/30 and waiting to ship. Like some others have posted no retail pricing yet for the 2021.
BUT news is that I have decided to keep my 2018 C63S coupe (see pic below). Recently decided to make it my daily driver again and fell in love with it all over again. Not really sure why I was thinking about trading it in??? My C63S is also tuned...Weistec catless downpipes, Weistec Stage 2 tune and BMC drop in filters...putting down 560hp at the wheels. So much fun to drive and sounds BADASS!
Anyway if anyone is interested in my build...PM me and I will give you my salesman's info and you can work the deal with him...very cool guy. I have bought a few cars from him and he is very easy to work with.

Got another update today. Car is still sitting awaiting to be shipped. Supposedly all recently built cla 45s are sitting there waiting. He said there were currently 64 awaiting shipment to the US.
Guess its just supply chain slowdowns or whatnot... really hoping they figure this crap out and ship them soon .

Thanks for the update! I am in the same exact situation. I ordered a MY2021 in late May and the car was completed by the end of August. My dealer said that the car is still awaiting shipment so I am assuming it is one of the 64 that you mentioned.
Just spoke to my dealer. Because of delays with EPA certification, all CLA 45s will not be released until December.
I mean shouldnt that have been already established with the already released 2020s?
Anyway, my dealer told me the 2021s are a bit delayed and they should be shipping to the US shortly. Release to dealerships mid Nov. Hopefully thats the case and not Dec.
Yea I was told my niche cars including amgs will be around Thanksgiving to mid Dec.. Same as the last few years unfortunately.. They need to be tested every year.. Govt gotta get that money lol
I just started getting the 21 a35 (just got a great silver on black w/night and aero) and e53.. So hopefully a good sign on the 63 closer to Thanksgiving than Xmas
