Yep, MB has sunk to a new low. The best or nothing, they must have chose the latter. The CLA250 has fake exhaust tips...they are closed off inside and the real exhaust dumps downward underneath the car. Pretty embarrassing for a car that averages around $45k or more. The A-class is the same. What a joke!
Junk. This is becoming more common, fake quad tips on some of the mid to upper lines. CLA line has always been a cheap line, cost cutting throughout. More of a VW than MB.
I am not arguing that this is not bad, or that you’re lying, but this has been going on for almost a decade at Mercedes and many other car companies. Check out Audi, some of what they do is egregious. But this is not a brand new thing or reserved to 45K cars, this is on 130k GLS580s, 2011 E classes, etc. This is nothing new. And this is on Audi, BMW, Honda, Kia, Lexus, and even some Chevrolet’s. This is not a downfall of Mercedes, this is a downfall of the whole car industry in the last 5-10 years.

It's a downfall because there was a time that MB would never be compared to just about any of the cars on that list. Even don't have monikers with the correct engine number, now we have 63's on 4.0's, 300's on 2.0's, etc..

This definitely has NOT been a practice by MB on other models. Those models you quote did have a space between the chrome tip and actual tail pipe, but what I've shown is just egregiously fake.
Why now? Why does MB have to join the rest of the crowd? Just when I'm about to get neck deep into my first MB and AMG. MB should change their slogan to "The most and nothing". Make the most money and nothing excellent....................sad...............so sad.....................

My cla250 doesn't have fake exhausts it depends on the year and spec if u care buy a better spec and don't slate a cheaper specked version it's clearly to save cost cause they don't need fancy tips they ain't sporty, what's point of putting duals on a 1.8 lol will sound stupid fake tips for small engines and 1 exhaust pipe simple
