Progressive Display Option

Hey all,

I’m starting to notice that A class vehicles delivered after May 2019 have been shipping with the Progressive speedo/tacho option. Just wondering for those of you driving a vehicle delivered on/after May - do you also have Progressive as an option for the instrument cluster display?

I only have Classic, Sport, Understated. However, the rest of the A250 hatchbacks I’ve seen on either Instagram, YouTube, or web reviews all have Progressive as an updated option.

I do not have that option. I thought Progressive only shows up for those with the AMG versions.

Guys, I've found the answer! You will get it soon. It is part of an update called "FU2" (firmware update 2) -- it contains multiple bug fixes, better throttle response, and the Progressive MBUX option.
You will need to drive to your dealership to update it, as it is a big file and needs a wired connection, versus the over-the-air updates in MBUX.

A Google Translate from a German forum:

FU2 is the latest version and comes with the following features:

- Mercedes Store (office in the car, navigation services, smartphone integration, summary of reserved services, user account information)

- Software version display (Configuration -> System -> System information)

- Several bug fixes

The speedometer unit also receives an update and the following features:

- Progressive design.

- Display of several traffic signs.

- Several bug fixes "

See above (you will get it soon!) AMG options have one called "supersport" -- it is the yellow/blue theme.

Your A220 will have it after an update.
is a review on the US A220 -- it is not an AMG model, but at 9:00 minutes into the video, he switches to Efficiency mode and you can see the display has the Progressive dials.

For my fellow Canadian customers: http://www.canadianautoreview.ca/rev...hatchback.html -- an A250 hatchback with Progressive dials. I'm going to my dealership tomorrow to try and get my vehicle updated to FU2.

My car was built in April, with software installed on April 29. I took delivery on May 30 and I have the Progressive display. I made a thread about it over here: https://mbworld.org/forums/class-w16...-our-cars.html

I just looked at your thread; I have the G-Force meter. I do have the Sport Package but I'm not sure if that makes a difference... my A250 is built in Germany on Oct. 2018, delivered March 2019.

I heard a rumour that Oct. 2018 manufactured A class 2019 models have a faulty display unit, which makes it unable to display Progressive. My entire Mercedes Me was indeed faulty on delivery and took 1 month for Service to fix (had a loaner vehicle for 15 days...) so - I am quite nervous whether or not my vehicle will be able to have the Progressive option - it is so nice and I wish I could have it.

Any new information about progressive style display?
I have an A200 AMG line and I doesn’t have that option, just the basics Clasic, Sport and ugliest Understated.
