79 450SEL. Donor car or project. Lowballers' Paradise!
I've got (as the title says) as 450sel that is a perfect donor for anyone working on a project. I slid off a road and messed up the passenger side from front fender to back fender. Exhaust is BRAND NEW including 2 cats on back. Wheels and tires are in great shape. I took out the intake cover assembly, sanded it all down and re-shot it black, it looks really good. Motor runs fine and tranny shifts smoothly. Has 150k miles on it.
Other than the fact that it was screwed up in an accident, it's a beautiful car. Paint is still in cherry condition. It's Mercedes Silver, and a fine example at that. If you're looking for any part at all off of it, hit me up and we can talk. I'd love for someone to take it away, but reluctant to give it to a junkyard either... Just make me an offer.
It's such a beautiful car, but i can't afford to put the money into it to get her back on her feet. Hit me up on AIM or email and let me know if you need anything.

Both are very adorable!! I have six of this model by the way.
Seriously though, I wish I was closer to where you are, I would love to save the car from ending up in a junk yard.
If nothing else, I thought it may be a good donor car for my 6.9.
I hope someone takes it off of your hand.
Good luck.

It's a amazing car but I have two project cars already... need a daily driver as my C230 isn't so street friendly anymore ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I would love to own this though...
EDIT- Alright, I just spoke to my fiance
What would it take to get her right again? Please, before you sell anything off of it, can you send me a detail of the damage to nukblazi@comcast.net so I can make some calls and get some estimates. Is there damage beyond the obvious? Suspension? Frame? etc.?

bump.
I just joined this board. I have a 77' 450 SEL i'm currently restoring. Could definitely benefit a great deal from whatever interior/mechanical parts you might still have, provided you still have the car after 3 months. Please respond if there is anything still available.
Thanks
