I think he means it's the CF layed over the OEM trim......... price is steep imho. I know a guy who does fiberglass and cf work and he wouldn't charge that much. I like the OEM aluminum trim so I won't be touching mine...... well..unless STEVE can get that hott red trim (johncl has it in his coupe! A++++) for the sedan's. I guess though it depends how much from region to region and from shop to shop.

yes it is oem overlay.. not dash kit.

I'm not sure if it is fit on coupe or not but it should be the same except the door trim

750 for an overlay? That's way too steep for the price. You can go get a chip or pulley for that money...

I think he probably means the cf was overlayed over the original plastic OEM pieces... which is pretty much how you would do it. I don't think any of the kits are actually full cf.

300 kits --- it's use 3M on the top of your existing trim
750 --- Replace your exsisting trim

So wouldn't it be a lot smarter and cheaper to buy CF overlays and put it on your own OEM pieces ?

cf overlay means the trim pieces are wrapped in CF and then coated to a hard finish. $750 is steep since most CF company can do it for around $450-500 using your existing trim. However $750 is for everything, you can probably sell your existing aluminum trim for $300 or so.

the $300 kit you see from eBay is a stick-on kit like those tacky wood trim you would see people put in their pickup.

btw, if someone wants to buy my aluminum trim from $300 I'm all for it...so I can buy that CF set...LOL :p
