How the hell you can call a 600RR a "great first bike" with clear conscience ?

Given I know little about sportbikes outside of my love for MV Agustas, but from what everyone tells me CBR600's are by far the easiest/best bikes to learn to ride on. Forgiving, lightweight, easy to maintain, perfectly balanced, etc.

it can be to a mature person...although some would say a new rider shouldnt exceed 500cc, i disagree

but i do not think this is a good beginner bike because its TOO new & shiny not because of 600cc

i agree but theres difference between a CBR600F4i (the throttle is more forgiving with tq) & a 600RR

I guess I will quote myself:

"Great First Sportbike"

Not Great Beginner Bike but FIRST SPORTBIKE.

If anyone is serious about getting a great sportbike at a great price please email me and I'll shot you my number to call. I've been riding sportbikes for 11 years I can pretty much answer any serious questions you may have about this bike.

I'd leave it at GREAT SPORTBIKE. The 600RR has incredible throttle response and super crisp brakes... neither one of those qualities are suitable for someone with no sportbike experience.

And just because someone you know bought one with no riding experience doesn't make it a good idea.

Do not make the lethal mistake thinking that theres ANYTHING forgiving about this bike. It's a race prepped superbike...

You're probably thinking of mid-90s CBR 600s

Oh yes the 95-96 CBR600s were just dogs.
90+ HP with a 1/4 mile time in the low 11's at 120 is just slow.

Here is a quick history lesson. CBR stands for Counter Balaced Race (Motor) All CBR were built to be class leading racebikes for streetbike based racing series. The lastest CBR600RRs are influenced heavily by Honda's Moto GP Program using similar styling and suspension.

Now please do not take this thread If you would like to discuss the motor brakes or any other part of a motorcycle please hit me up on AIM at boostd2. My job gives me the unique chance to ride upwards of 20 different motorycles a month. I also own 4 including this one I am trying to sell.
