FS: 2003 E500 19,200 miles, New York City
Gang,
As you can see from my sig I'm selling my low mileage 03 W211 E500 non-sport to make way for an 07. The advantage of the 07 over my Jan 2003 delivered W211 is that I don't need to have a Garmin 2720 on the dash, nor carry a bluetooth headset along with my mobile phone, and a mediocre FM transmitter for my Ipod, etc, as all these bits are now available integrated in the new car.
You can find the ad on autotrader.com, cars.com, etc by searching for 2003 E500 in zip 10009.
As I've enjoyed reading many of the discussions in these forums and benefitted greatly from the advice and sense of community, I figured I'd pass the word here too.

you know you can add bluetooth and nav to your car right?
is the only reason you are selling due to nav, ipod and bluetooth? If so, I have the 1st edition 03 e500 and I had steve install the euro command system with nav. Your local dealer can install the v60 phonekit which now has bluetooth retrofit. I dont listen to ipod, so Im not sure about that one.
Yes, the 07 is very nice with the bigger engine and 7 speed tranny, but I doubt it is worth $35K more

Good points, though I'm ambivalent about 'extensive' modification like the kind of surgery needed to get the euro comand in to replace the factory head unit, the trunk work, etc etc.
I wasn't aware of the bluetooth availability for the 03s, but it's a thought.
My best case alternative is to just buy the luxurycare+ 4 yr/75k extension from Warrantydirect.com and walk away from the 07 if the 03 doesn't sell.
