FS-Brembo Big Brake Kit-front & rear -03 + E class
Hello,
I just purchased a 2005 E55 that the guy I bought form went to town with upgrades. I loved the car and bought it and dig the "look" of the Red calipers and they stop great, but for me its "overkill"..I don't race(other than the willing sucker on the fwy) and don't feel the need for them. The front kit sells at Tirerack.com for $3500, the rear around $2500...new.
What I am considering is selling the "Grand Turismo" red calipers, floating rotors, mounting brakets and stainless steel brake lines for all 4 corners. Everything you need to install front and rear. This kit will be removed and the stock AMG rotors and calipers re-installed.
I have all the original boxes and instruction manuals that came with the Brembo Brake kit both for the front and rear.
The brake kit has around 5k miles on since installed and works flawlessly...the reason I will remove is because I am concerned if/when I have any warranty issues that it will void it. I called my local dealer and they say "warranty void" of aftermarket brakes installed. Being that I have all the OEM AMG stuff I will just put them back on...although I have thought of just leaving them on "until I have brake" warranty problems....
So you know this kit does require larger rims and tires...my car has 19" and the do not rub or make any sort of contact.
Email or call for questions or any offers- in the OC.
