KW Variant stages 2 coil over for sale.
I have the KW variant coil over stage 2 for sale. I'm thinking about removing it and go with Eibach spring. It too stiff for my wife. I put less then 1K miles on it. I'm asking for $1300 plus shipping. It retail for $1750. Drop me an e-mail if you are interested. ldnguyen1970@hotmail.com
Btw, according to my installer, the KW Variant coil kit over are all the same for w203 and w209 because the w209 chassis is based on the w203 chassis. These included, C230, C32 and C55.

i just bought a pair of these kw variant 2 used. im not too sure what exactly is the adjustment on the top for the rebound adjustment. I tightened the adjustment all the way clockwise then loosened counterclockwise 1.5 rotations. Is that the correct way for smooth to stiff or vice versa. any help would be good thanks.

i do not have the allen wrench. the top of the rear strut is pretty much like a flat head screwdriver. i turned it using some pliers. also, do the front struts have a nut to tighten the spring hat on top? do i use the factory ones? i looked at the ones that i bought and there is no nut. i might have to look through the box to see if it might still be in there. but there werent any nuts included.

Did you buy the coilovers used?
There is a nut that comes with the coilovers if you bought them new. I'm not sure if the factory ones fit or not. You'll have to double check. Worst case, you can probably call up KW USA and buy them. I see that you're in SD, you might always want to call up Group5 and speak to Troy. He's the main KW distributor in the US so he might be able to help you out as well.

heres the manual to adjust them:

mines didn't come with the purple adjustment cap either, but pliers or an adjustable wrench work fine.
