I own a ML400CDI MY2003.
What can you tell me about?

First I assume that the Diesel ML trunk area is no different than the US Spec gas models. You can browse the pictures of US models on ebay to confirm this. If they are the same, then the seats I am selling should work with no problem. I believe for US spec models, the later models, perhaps 2003 to 2005 are already equipped with the mounting brackets. To check if yours does, remove the four rectangle shaped plastic covers located in the side panels in the trunk area. If you see a bar about 1 inch long inside, then these seats will hook right up. The only thing you need to add are the seatbelts, which are included in my set. If you need to install the brackets, I have detailed pictures of my installation, all nuts and bolts and printed instructions.

You can see the "bar" that the seats attach to in the pic of the brackets in the box . Look at the areas where the holes are on the bracket.

I think our cars are different, not because gasoline or diesel engine, but because my car is model year 2003 (model with direction flash on external mirrors), and your one is model year 2000. These models are different in over 1200 technical particulars... May be I'ld ask for this on a MB dealer...

I believe the trunk areas did not change between 2000 and 2003. The changes to the W163 were mostly cosmetic and to improve assembly quality. If you look at pics of the trunk areas on ebay ads between 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, they appear identical. But call your dealer to be 100% sure.

I am 100% certain they will fit. Looks exactly like mine, color and all. As I mentioned earlier, lift one of those rectangle covers to see if the brackets are already installed. Thanks for the pic.

Filter is $25. It was used for 14k miles but after cleaning and re-oiling it is good as new. No damage to it at all. Shipping to Canadw by USPS is $12 but if you send me your postal code, I can calculate UPS shipping which may be cheaper. Thank you for the interest.

Seats are out of the car, but got these from ebay. The tires are Michelin Latitude Tour 255 55 18, wheels are Kosei K3 lightweight wheels, like new only 300 miles, $1300 with SmartTire pressure sensors:
