Feeler: 199 W210 E55 AMG for sale
Feeler: 1999 E55 Amg
Well, like the title says, I'm kind of just testing the waters here to see what I can get. I'll update pics later, seeing as though I do not have any available at this very second. Also, for people who don't know who I am, feel free to check any of my many previous sales on this forum.
Basic Info:
Year: 1999
Make: Mercedes-Benz
Model: E55 AMG
Mileage: 85,000
Color ext.: Black (Obsidian)
Color Int.: Charcoal
Body Style: 4-Door Sedan
Title: Clean (I'll have to go and get the VIN, but I'll do that when I post pics)
Car has all of the ammenities such as power everything, car phone with hands free, 6 cd changer, rear retractable sunshade HID, etc. etc...
HP: 349 (U.S. Models)
Torque: 391 ft/lbs.
The good:
Car is completely up to date on all scheduled Maintenance(just did the 80,000 check-up/tune-up). I have all of the receipts including every oil change done every 3.5k miles starting from my ownership which started 12/23/05.
Interior: Great shape: I would rate it a 8 out of 10. No Rips at al in the leather.
Exterior: Once again, great shape, currently has 3 coats of Wax on it, looks great. No fade spots in paint at all. 8 out of 10
The Bad:
Front bumper has rock chips and a small 1 1/2" crack at the bottom of it on the drivers side. Not noticable from 10' away, but nonetheless. That is the only reason that I rated the exterior 8 out of 10, otherwise it would be 9.5 out of 10.
There are a couple of spots on the Rims where the Chrome is starting to flake and there is some minor curb rash. My guess is that the previous owner curbed the Rims which caused the minor flaking, nothing crazy, it's not visible from more than 10' but the prospective buyer should be aware.
The Moon Roof works, but it is beginning to become a little "finicky" for lack of better words. I've noticed a couple of times where it takes some cohersion to get it to closed or open. That is the only reason that I rated the interior an 8 out of 10......otherwise it would be 9.5 out of 10.
Absolutely nothing else wrong with the car. I will note though that the rear brakes will need to be replaced in about 5k miles.
Modifaication:
Car is lowered (not sure on the manufacturer due to it already being installed when I purchased the vehicle). Looks great though. It makes the wheels fit perfeclty and gives the car a very aggressive stance.
Rims: Car currently has Chrome Brabus Monoblocks (Staggered) with 225's in front and 275's in back.
As is I'm looking to get 22K and If I decide to go ahead and get everything fixed I'm looking to get 24K
Thanks everybody for reading.
