Deeman/Candy man or whatever this thief is going by now.

I am posting this warning so no one else gets ripped off by this thief.

Yes I hang out on occassion, and 2 other benz forums.

This is a great forum for info. but I don't usually say a lot, I like to stop by and read through the forums when I have an issue with my car. I find the site very helpful. But I will not stand by when I get ripped off, and I don't want others to get burned.

As I have found out in the other 2 benz forums I am not the only one to be taken by this person.

Yep - that particular area of Atlanta is definitely on the 'wrong side of the tracks'. I wouldn't drive my car in this neighborhood unless I had some serious firepower.

try this number (404) 344-9797 register to a Ms. Forbes at the same location. Perhaps this is occuring without her knowledge being that the scammer's last name is different from her's.

Worth a shot.

Is the (404) 629-1937 number valid? That's the number registered to the "business".

Don't trust Pyrate or believe what he is saying

Pyrate, you are the guy that refused to send me my parts back to me and paying for your shipping and you have the audacity to call me a thief. Guys don't believe this crook. He was asked several times to send my transmission back that did not work according to him, shipping was on me but he refused. He also asked me to lie on the shipping form for him so that he didn't have to pay anything to customs. There have been plenty of customers who do business with me without complaints, this guy is just an a$$h@#%!!!! This idiot actually thought that I was going to send him another transmission, the second one by the way, and keep all of my parts. You really are a Canadian!!! As for the rest of you, you are so quick to jump on the bandwagon without hearing both sides. GROW UP MEN and get a life!!!!!

He's on scads of online forums (Mercedes, BMW, Nissan, you name it) under several usernames... likes to PM or email folks who are looking for parts. He was just busted for posting YET AGAIN under a (3rd or 4th) alias at mercedesshop:
