H&R cup kit
Came off my E320.
Jimmy just pointed out that it will not work with a V8. Had it on for about 9 months. No problems, It's 4 springs and matching shocks. Kit was $ 700.
Lowers the front 2" and the rear 1.8. Here's a pic. This was with #1 pads. THe lowest you can go.
$200.
Thanks

In the market
Ok...so not trying to undermine Jimmie...but...you had it on for 9 months and with no problem...so it sounds to me like it works. I mean....9 months sounds like a pretty good proving duration...

Yea Guys no sweat.
My car is an E320. Jimmy has an E55.
Mine v6 him v8.
I believe Jimmy if he says so even though the box says it works on all W210 cars. It was a brand new kit in March. Maybe this cupkit will support a V8 ( E55) don't know. It's typed on the box though.
I loved the kit. It's in the original box. Springs and shocks. Take a look at the stance of my car. That is on #1 pads. If it's too slammed for you you could go up a few pad#'s
Car sale is pending and put it back stock. I was going to throw it out but the trash can was literally full so it's still on the floor of garage in Los Angeles.
Thanks

I have a Cupkit on my E430. I've had it on for about 10,000 miles so far with no problems. I know I've read about some other members here have also run the Cupkit on their V8 W210's. The front may sit a bit lower then a 320 but you can always run a larger spring pad up front if you want to. The springs do not feel too soft with the extra weight of the V8 it feels pretty balanced to me.
$200 is a great price. Someone should jump on this.
If you search "KDW2" on the W210 page you can see a pic of my E430 sitting on a Cupkit.

Thanks man.
Yea, I figured I'd give it away. $200 will just about by my daughter her swing set for Christmas.
Like I said, it says W210 V6, V8 on the box. It was brand new in March.

'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
Sorry it took so long for me to see this thread. I'm speaking from personal experience. I ran the Cupkit on a V8 W210 (97 E420) and the suspension was just too "sloshy" for lack of a better word IMO and way too low in the front. Yes, you can run heavier V8 springs in the front with this but then what's the point of purchasing this kit? The springs and shocks in this kit are designed to work together to give you amazing handling on the V6 W210's so I personally wouldn't introduce any other front springs. I would recommend this to anyone with a 96-02 V6 W210 but not for a V8. Those who might like this on a V8, no offense, but I'm not the only one who has tried and replaced the Cupkit on a V8 because of poor results.
Regardless, good luck on the sale Sleeper and this is dirt cheap! Someone needs to jump on this QUICK!!!

Thanks Jimmy.
I almost forgot about the thread from it being so hectic at my house.
Here are some pics for everyone since they have been asking. Pretty straight forward. Retail over $700. $200 lol. You pay shipping. They would sell in a min on Ebay but tired of fees.
They are not coil overs. It just says that on the box. Must be a German thing.

$200.00 WOW that's cheap!! I paid over $700 for the H&R Cup Kit for my 3 Series BMW. Great deal! I loved the way it improved the handling on my BMW over the stock sport suspension.
