Everyone,
I've got an illuminated Brabus shifter for the auto W203 (or anything else with similar knob type). Just picked it up while I was in the DE. I grabbed a couple, as you can't get them in the US. I was wondering if anyone was interested in purchasing them. If so, PM me an offer or post an offer here. Thanks!

Hey guys,
Included is a pic of the shifter. Starting bid/offer is: 290. Wouldn't ask so much but.......good luck finding another one elsewhere. Someone offered me 75 bucks. No.

That's a rude comment...Saying "good luck finding another one" You wont be selling the shifter on this board for 2 reasons.

1. Your an a$$hole
2. nobody is dumb enough to pay that much for that.

I wonder what the price difference might be between a wood vs illuminated Brabus shift knob. Saw this on ebay.de. Different model but there can't be that much price difference.

Startpreis: EUR 49,00

Verbleibende Zeit: 1 Tage 4 Stunden
Angebotsdauer: 10 Tage
Angebot endet: 07.09.03 21:30:00 MESZ

I'll admit $290 is A LOT more than I'll ever pay for a shift knob, but c'mon doc, $75? that's a bit TOO low. Don't get insulted by the seller's attitude, I'd be pissed too if I got an offer of almost 75% less of what i wanted (excuse my math if im incorrect, it's been a while)

Good point made. But lets look at the price for a woodie on German ebay as posted above. There's got to be a happy medium somewhere. Please remember that the original poster listed this ad on here for something you get free from your dealer. Everything is in perspective. Therefore I can see both sides but lean towards the other.
$0.02

Keyword: Offer.

You know, like when you buy a house. You make an offer. The seller says no or yes. Then if no, you adjust your offer to meet their wants, and voila.

Nonetheless, it wouldn't be a low offer if the seller wasn't on something illegal.

Hehe, I think I'm just going to keep the thing or maybe Ebay it. You think 290 is a rediculous price, like I make the things up. Make note that I didn't build it, nor price it. The retail is 290. If you've problems with the price, contact Brabus: info@brabus.de. 75 is considerably less than I payed for it wholesale in the DE. It's not really a reasonable offer.

Everyone knows, however, that retail is nowhere near a reasonable price. Reasonable is somewhere between retail and wholesale, and a bargain is wholesale or below.

Case in point, if people want to pay retail for that knob, they'll buy it from Brabus directly. If you want to sell something on here, then don't expect to get retail for it.

There's plenty of people on here that can hook up deals on such products and when people look to purchase something through here, they're looking for a bargain, or at least a good price, not the same price they would pay at an authorized Brabus dealer.

It's not that people have a problem with the retail price, the problem they have is with YOU charging the retail price. ;0) Good luck selling your knob, but just so you know, you won't get near retail on this board.

Right, I understand how retail and pricing work. However, this is an item that is no longer available in the United States. I mean, you could go to Brabus in DE and get one, like I did. But...that might be more than what I'm asking. Whether I sell it on here or not is irrelevent. They're not hard to unload, I was simply seeing if someone here wanted it. ::Shrug::
