Just press the driver side mirror switch (when you are in reverse) and it won't tilt next time you reverse.

Just to point out, this function is explained in your owners manual. As said above, the tilt function is enabled if the passenger mirror is selected. You can also adjust the tilt position to your preference.

Just out of curiosity why ??
It's one of the best features you can have, I have set up the perfect tilt angle on both my C Coupes and use it all the time when parking and is the reason why the passenger side wheels have never been damaged...
When just plain reversing or not parking the mirror tilt down does not interfere in any way as you have rear cam, rear view mirror and sensors.

I actually wish this feature was in all of the my other cars that don't have it instead of having to always manually adjust the passenger side mirror when reverse kerb parking.

I agree and didn't thought of asking out of curiosity, it is so helpful! If you have 360 camera as well, the side view is also helpful as it shows one live image of the left wheel and the other on the right wheel side by side.

Thank you! The reason why I am disabling this is because the side mirrors don’t adjust back … so I almost got into an accident because I couldn’t check my sides for oncoming cars

Oh OK that makes sense...

Have you had the issue looked at or fixed at all, since it is supposed to tilt back to it's original position.

Yes that is correct. It can be a software issue like said or a glitch, I wonder if resetting it somehow might fix things, the mirrors however doesn't share the same data as the infotainment so you can't just restore factory settings there and hope it works or maybe it might, I don't know.

Since CLE is a completely new vehicle and being a first model year, software glitches/bugs are inevitable, patches should fix it indeed when it is out.
