2025 CLE AMG 53
Credit for missing MBUX augmented reality
I have a dealer trying to locate a CLE 450 for me and I noticed on one of the build sheets a $350 credit with the description "D7B Credit for missing MBUX augmented reality for navigation". Does anyone have any details around this? Hardware issue?

Ugh Mercedes still can't figure this out? Last year, they couldn't figure out how to do hands free trunks so I got a useless $100 credit instead.

I have ordered a 2024 CLE 53. So far, everything I ordered is available, including the MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation.

Has anyone else heard of this happening with Augmented Reality for Navigation or any other standard of optional equipment on a CLE? Have others been able to get the Augmented Reality feature on their builds? I still haven’t heard of any issues getting any of the features I ordered, including the Augmented Reality for Navigation, in my CLE 53 build.

Was the CLE 450 build sheet you saw on a car that was already built, or an ordered car?

The dealer sent me the electronic copy of the sticker. The car had been produced and was "on the ship".

Thanks. That’s very helpful. My car is ordered but not yet built. I guess I may not know for sure if any options were not available until it’s actually built. I’ve seen stickers of 3 other CLE 53s at a dealer. There was no mention of any missing items, although none had the Pinnacle Package that includes Augmented Reality for Navigation.

I’m sure if this is an issue, someone will comment.

My window sticker stated that a credit given for missing augmented video. I've read this related to a chip shortage. Am I able to add augmented video later when the chip is available?

My car is on a ship heading to the US. The build sheet lists the U19 Augmented Video for Navigation. There is no mention of it being missing or of a credit. I’ve seen a couple in stock CLE 53s with the Pinnacle Package. There is no indication on the window sticker that Augmented Video was missing. Missing Augmented Video seems to have been an issue with some cars in 2021.

Mine has the augmented video and it works fine. Shouldn’t be a chip shortage issue anymore. That would be a lame excuse as that was a 2021 issue

MB has continued to have parts shortage and supply chain issues, especially with AR Nav accross most models (only the E, S, and EQ cars seem to be less/unaffected) and the enhanced ambient lightting on the C and GLC.
