CLE53AMG

Admin: move to AMG section if needed. Didn’t see a thread there. The new CLE53 AMG is a great coupe, and I think one of the better executions of design and power. Just picked it up on Friday. This car should sell very well. My favorite features are the rear axle steering, massage seats, potent powertrain, design elements, and the new software (new to me anyway). Cheers

Loving the cockpit and the airflow from the vents. Configurable HUD and gauge cluster options are fantastic, as are the multispoke steering wheel with alcantara and the driving setting inputs with the knobs. Very smart.

Fuel efficiency is outstanding. Over 30 on the hwy and 20 in town but we’ll see how this goes.

At night the car’s lighting is phenomenal.

Can you change the puddle lights to say AMG rather than the Benz star? I’ve seen pics of “AMG” projected on the ground.

Mpgs should only improve past break in, providing your foot doesn’t get too heavy. I don’t know if you’ve booted it a bit due to break-in but I have from a 30mph roll and it’s impressive.

Yes, you do have to replace the actual puddle light hardware though, but replacing it is super easy.

I've pushed it a little but not over 4500 rpm and not full throttle. Pulls hard and looking forward to opening it up more.

Drove up to the canyons this weekend. Still in break-in, didn’t push too hard. Car has plenty of power. In twisties and sweepers it inspires confidence with rear wheel steer and even some road feel. Lots of grip and pulls hard. A bit heavy but RWS helps offset. I really like this car - one of my favorites for sure.
