Thx they do make running changes - hoping the 25's have been updated.

On a side note, t's very helpful for all to include production dates (located drv's lower door jamb) when posting about these kinds of things so we can see when they begin/end.

we all can with this info, and for any issues for that matter
if yours is an aug prod shouldn't it be a 25?

2024s we’re still being produced in August. My CLE 53 was an ordered in July and produced in August. It’s a 2024.

Interesting I know remember it was an odd initial launch of just a few months then the switch, when did they switch over-Sept? Ours was a late oct build and a 25.

The clicking persists in my car and it is annoying. I cringe whenever I hear it. I have been avoiding taking it in because I have been so busy but will make an appointment next week. I'll post an update once it gets worked on. like @Pwrks111 my brakes squeak loudly at low speeds too.

Just wanted to chime in and say im having the same noise on my CLE 2024. Just got it in November. I have already been to the service center 2 different times, not for this but other weird issues that seem to have been fixed. Gonna wait till there is a more solid solution on here until I take her in again. It was in the shop with only 300 miles on it for a random screen CEL, and the screens froze and wouldn't turn on. Staying tuned for solutions, or a recall 🤷🏻‍♂️

The only time I hear that noise is when the parking break disengages. I wonder if something is not tight or the design of the system something is free floating when not engaged.

I hear it most prominently reversing after a cold start. But I also hear it in regular driving.
There were some others posting here who stopped so presumably they got it sorted out. I would just love to know what fix the dealer employed that got it done.

It was mentioned that they needed to replace hardware (fasteners) in the rear hub assembly and use a different lubrication strategy. If they havent figured it out, ask the dealer to contact mercedes west chester and reference my fix.
