New 2024 CLE300 Convertible
Hi. Bought a new 2024 CLE300 Convertible on Nov 2, 2024 and drove it 7 days when the 48 Volt system experienced issues. The car would no longer start and could not be jumped. It has been at the dealer ever since and the issue has been escalated to the engineers in Germany for resolution. It is 6 Dec and I have been told it will be another 5-7 days to hear back. I have a loaner, but sucks I cannot enjoy my car and have not made the first payment. I have opened a case # with Mercedes to look at providing a replacement, but have been told that it could take up to 8 weeks for them to review and make a decision. I know that Alabama lemon law states 3 fix attempts, but this was right from the start. Anyone else experience this issue or had a replacement experience. Thanks for any feedback.

It took 3 days before I had my CLE53 back, with software issues and eventually updates.
I think (and hope) we've gone far enough with software nannies and controls, now lets get back to driving since this why I purchased an AMG.
Otherwise, it's not pretty nor a good value proposition.

They need to stop releasing these cars until all the current updates are done either at the factory or vpc. Stop leaving it up to the customer to bring it to the dealership on our time which in turn kills cust satisfaction. Many of these updates were available prior to delivery.
