My dealer emailed me a pic as our 25 CLE 53 has arrived...we won't be back in California for another 2-3 weeks but they're keeping it locked and all plastic etc. on until we get there. We are very happy with the color combo from what we can see from the rainy-day delivery pics he sent .
Biggest hurdle will be what kind of deal we get, as new cars sales are way down and there's lots of substantial discounts out there...we shall see.

The ordering system would not let my dealer remove the switchable engine sound when they ordered my CLE AMG 53 cabriolet.a few months ago. The charge for it was also added to the price. The rear airbags show up in the build sheet even though I did not order them either, but there is no charge for them. There are a lot of issues, changes and inconsistencies with both the online configuration and the dealer ordering system compared to the BMWs and Corvettes I have ordered. This is my first Mercedes and I was anticipating a more accurate process with less surprises. My car was pushed out over a month from the original build date and is now scheduled to be built in the order cycle beginning Monday.

Yes, the DOG vs the online config has had several discrepancies...so long as I received the options no matter whether NC or not is what's important to me, so hopefully all is good. Still MB should have done a better job w/them.

As I’ve said many times, the MBUSA website is manage by a 3rd grade class in NJ. It shouldn’t be trusted for accuracy.

Omit the DC2 Performance Studio Package. substitute the RVS Black Cross-Spoke wheels for their RVR Grey counterparts and presto - my 25 CLE 53 in every other detail. Right down to the optional $300 AMG fuel cap 🙂

Congratulations. Nice looking vehicle. I see you ordered the 399 Multicontour Front Seats w/ Massage Function. Are they included in the car as built? Another poster said his were removed because of a chip shortage. I have a build set for next month and I’m wondering what to expect with the seats.

Thanks. According to my SA everything I ordered is there but I’ll know for certain on Thursday afternoon when we go to pick it up and will report back. I expect every option I ordered to be there and if not we may pass, keeping fingers crossed

The one I originally ordered was built on 1/6 and the multicontour seats were left off. I requested a build sheet as soon as it was produced and noticed the issue. The dealer contacted the factory and was told it is a supply issue and that option is currently being dropped from the build when the cars begin production. That is what got me looking at cars on dealer lots and I found this one that had just come in a few days before with the Tonka brown. It still doesn't have the multicountour seats, but at least it has the interior color we originally wanted that has been on constraint for months. They are having a lot of supply chain issues when it comes to the seating.
Mine was a late Oct build so hoping there’s no issues. My SA is off today but before we go to the dealer tomorrow I’m going to confirm nothing was left off the build just to be sure.

UPDATE: went to get the vehicle yesterday but the massage function for the lower cushion was malfunctioning (it was buzzing vs creating pressure points), that in combination of more price haggling delayed things into today providing their service dept finds out what's wrong and they don't create any collateral damage in the process. Wondering if this is why there's a constraint on the massage option...potential supplier issue?
Interesting thing re the massage seats, the lower cushion massage is only available for two of the total programs and it's a driver's seat option only...are others here with these seats finding the same thing?
Well the MB dealer's GM did not honor what their sales director told me they would do re the lease money factor and refused to give an update on the malfunctioning massage seat without agreeing to their new proposal! The sales director apologized (he's a decent guy) and said if it were up to him the deal would have been done. We also made an offer on a new 24 GT63 Coupe that's been at their dealership for almost a year, and once again the GM killed the deal where their SD said he'd do it with no hesitation if it were solely up to him.
Sooo today we bought a new 2025 M8 Completion Coupe Saphire Black/Silverstone full leather which should at the dealer in about ~10 days (we got an excellent deal with no issues) This is one of the last M8Comp coupes BMW will make as only the 4-door GC and Conv will continue through this year and then also end, making way for a possible hybrid and a smaller vehicle as a new 6 series. My wife is thrilled as she loved our M850. I've driven M8 comps previously and they are absolute monsters and gorgeous. Here's some virtual pics from BMW they sent me of the vehicle we purchased. What do you all think?

To me, and this is a very unpopular opinion 😬, CLE 55 is not proper AMG, same as all AMG models from 2022, not sound, interior is ****ty and the only thing they have done to compensate this is making a car wider than a locomotive….🙈 GT63 coupe is another history.
