Touch controls

So I've heard mixed reviews about the touch controls and to me, I don't see anything wrong with them, except the volume control, both on the steering wheel and under the middle screen. Does anyone have any tips on getting the volume to go up and down? I just find it difficult to get it to do what I want it to do.

not ideal, but I find the one on the bottom of the screen more accurate, however it is quite a reach from the driver side plus kind of dangerous.

Other than that, you could try the dealer menu and adjusting the volume settings inside (ComfortVolumeMin, ComfortVolumeMax) hopefully it increases the steps each time you swipe and the amount of volume it decreases or increases.

Don't forget the other settings like damping, see that thread previously linked.

I just wonder what each of those setting do, I would hate to screw something up, but I guess I can take note of how it was before the changes and change it back if need be

For sure, always a good idea.

I 100% agree the volume control on the steering wheel is almost useless for me but the volume controls on the center screen works quite well. I use the voice command increase volume or decrease volume but of course not helpful if you are looking for granular control. The mute on the steering wheel works very well just wish the radio didn't "unmute" each time I start the car.....

Agree, genuine issue. Perhaps try changing the source of the audio before turning off the vehicle.
