2025 CLE53 AMG Cabriolet Prices Query

What sort of discounts are you seeing at dealers with these on the lot?
Interested mainly for Florida but am interested in other parts of the country as well.
Possibly interested in this.

We recently got a $97K sticker for about 2.75% off the MSRP and a few ($500ish value) freebies tossed in. I was happy with the deal. It wasn't worth quibbling over another $1,000 or so for me. We also had a $4,500 USAA incentive that MB had set up with them, so that knocked the majority of what we got off MSRP out of the park. I know there are different incentives, although after I checked in May, they had gone down considerably. USAA was only $500.

We shopped the two in Naples (Bonita Springs) and they had a stripper and one dealership didn't even have one. We looked over on the east coast (yikes) and they, as expected, didn't want to play the email game. We ended up at Ft Myers. We have zero relationship with MB anymore as we have been away from them for 20 years.

I was close to purchasing a CLE53 Cab yesterday. They were discounting about $3900. Between the price offered and trade in, we were divided by $4k.
I would have increased my offer but I have this bothersome feeling that I would be paying more than $90k for a C Class and the convertible top cable fraying issue that plagues MB
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful looking car. While obviously not as modern looking, my wife's 2018 E400 coupe (35k miles) has a more quality interior.
I have decided not to purchase a CLE.

You do get E-Class exclusive stuff as those seats and massage as an option yes it is mostly a C-Class but there are some E elements that still matters.

You also get the engine variants of an E-Class after all, since the C-Class only comes in four cylinders even 43 and 63 E Performance models.

Nothing the matter with each and every point. You have to be happy (wife too) with what you drive. The interior is where you spend 99% of your time driving (okay, 100%, but I am factoring walking up to the car and walking away from it after you've parked it and looking at it). 2018 E classes are sweet vehicles and very nice. We came from a 2022 911 GTS (not humble bragging, just comparing) and went, obviously, a different direction than 911-land and are really happy with the CLE53.

I totally understand the "paying more than $90K for a C Class" sentiment, however, I have accepted the fact that inflation has ruined me and I need not be stuck in the 1990s for pricing structure. $heet is expensive these days...hard to get around that, I know.

Dealer from East Coast FL called me and had a CLE53 Cab coming in Manuf White/ Tonka-Black Napa. I would have preferred Mach Beige. (looked at aC LE 450 with Tonka at a dealer near by and it wasn't that bad).
with Pinnacle (incl Augmented video) and Driver Assis Package and quite a few other options. List is $95k. Most I ever spent on a car.
He is discounting it as well as giving me a great price on my trade in. There are very few of these
I think I may do it. It's still on the boat.

I was up most of the night with this on my mind.
What is nagging me is that I am dealing with my wife's health issues (for the first time in her life).
I have to feel very comfortable in my decision first and foremost. Believe, it was an excellent deal
and it's really weighing on me.

Oh the original linked vehicle seems to be sold, can you show us pictures of the new one you are looking at? You don't have to link it.

That configurator sucks. When i try to retrieve my saved build, it comes up different than when I've chosen.

Buy the way, does the trunk have an auto close button? I can see a button for the top divider.

No (on the trunk close button), which to me, is a silly thing to not put on the car. It has a insert "handle" or plastic grab spot to give it a sling downward.

How effing dumb is that not to have on a $90k+ car? It's the same as my 2023 BMW M340i.
At least this car has Augmented Nav which from my research, many stickers show a $300 credit for not having it.
Amazing.
These are not my seats. The seats are coming with Tonka Brown/Black Napa Leather. For some reason, it is not on the configurator. My first choice would have been the Macchiato Beige. I didn't order it. This is what is coming in.
Very few CLE53 Cabs in South Florida where quite a few dealers are not discounting. Mine is.

That is strange, did it give you a personalized code for the build?

Do all CLE 53 cab not have it, pretty silly indeed for a vehicle at this calibre especially if they intend it to be a E replacement as well on top of the C replacement. Are there certain packages or options that allow you to have the button?

A credit for AR? I thought chip shortage has ended a long time ago though.

Maybe they will use the excuse of the motor too heavy (removed to save weight) or there is not enough room for the wiring of the electric assisted close trunk function.

Nothing to do with weight. The motor takes space that is not available in the Cabriolet. It's not an excuse - it's engineering. What, it's too much effort to close the f'in trunk by hand?

Sorry, I guess we were just expecting this in this calibre vehicle that is all, is it fair to say no cabriolet has power assisted trunk, like none exists?

Does this car have the trunk opening by motioning your foot?

I am also debating whether to PPF the car. My M340i is fully PPF'd.
Between window tint and full PPF, I would be looking at $6k.
Maybe I'll just do the Drivers Protection Package. See below.
