Just received notice this morning the Software Update, MBUX 3.2.2 is available (this was also mentioned by another member in the Update 3.2.1 thread)

"This update includes general improvements to systems and functions in order to deliver a better infotainment experience in your Mercedes-Benz"

 

Question:
Is this OTA update or something they will perform when I go in for service?

I’ll check the radio muting issue tomorrow. I know my radio didn’t stay muted after a restart, but I don’t remember if I checked it after the update to MBUX 3.2.2.

Where do I find what is the current MBUX software installed on my 53.
I looked at system information, nothing came close to the revision number as identified here.

The app will prompt what version MBUX is installed, otherwise, NTG8 followed by the number is your specific software version.

 

Another slow update for me - after 24 hours - I am at "Installing....29%"

I checked this morning when I started my drive to work - it was at 29%.....when I arrived at work - 45 minutes later....still at 29%

 

You drove too fast and the signal with the updates couldn't catch you.

 

The MBUX version numbers do not seem to be viewable in MBUX. The software version in settings corresponds to the MBUX version update. In my case, when I updated to 3.2.2, the software version changed to E270.1-5683. So, the best I can tell is that software version E270.1-5683 corresponds to MBUX 3.2.2.

 

MBUX 3.2.2 does not fix the radio won’t stay muted upon restart issue. I tried it a couple of times. Both times the radio came on at the same volume upon restart that it was when muted at shut down. It would be nice if the volume would either stay muted or come on at a default lower volume.

 

Installation Completed !!!

I haven't noticed any differences so far...

I got the notification on my App (for the Over The Air update MBUX 3.2.2) which directed me to start it in my car. I went to settings, system, software, and there it showed the Update. Hit update and then it showed progress. Mine went to 24% and stopped, then it only went up small bits at a time when I would lock car. Sometimes it would only go up 1% over night. After 3 days it got up 51% and stopped, then a couple of days later I noticed it was installed. It took about 5 days. Have no idea why mine took so long. I had called the MB dealer after 3 days and they did not know why it was taking so long. They said to be sure to lock car to enable updating which I had done, and that if it didn't install, I could bring it in, and they would manually install it. I read that it should install in about an hour but could take up to 8 hours. No idea why mine took so long.

 

I’ve had tons up updates to my car and the ILS activated. Do you really think anyone will ever notice, I mean please!!!! BenzNinja is a genius and a great guy

 

sorry, what are you saying? What did you do to your car?

 

Software version E333.8-58 fixes the mute function to keep the system muted after a restart.

 

Was it an over-the-air update or did you have to go to the dealer?
