I saw a Selenite Gray Magno (might have been graphite) CLE53 Cabriolet today. Holy moly, it looked f'in incredible. I've always been a huge fan of the SL, but I read they're garbage. LOVE the S63 but no new cabrio and it really its a land yacht of a car anyway.
But this, this has huge potential. When does the CLE63 come out? Will it have the new flat plane crank V8? Honest the 53 looked every bit of AMG except for the exhaust tips, I cannot wait until the 63 comes out. It's like a grown up version of the late C36 cabrio. And on that note, if the interior finishes of the C63 were well sorted, it would be the perfect German hot rod.

The one I saw had these wheels. I have to admit, they're more impressive on the car than off. I'll try to take some photos next time I see the car, it's someone at the local cc. I saw a set on Ebay for $10K. Seems a bit excessive, but I get it, they're fresh to death right now. lol

The wheels were one of the nonstarter qualifications for us. It had to be the forged cross spoke designed ones. Forged (the others at least don't say they're forged, so these are "stronger") and easier to clean.

I didn’t have a choice. Car was already ordered by the dealer.
Not worried about the strength as I no longer drive on roads like the NJT or Belt Parkway. No pothole# here in SWFL.

True. The roads here are deliciously smooth and damn clean.
