i am not sure about the actual specification, but I was able to confirm that there’s been no change since last year.

2026 GLE 53 Coupe
So we went down to the dealership again tonight to complete the final paperwork, and got another look at my wife's CLE 53 coupe before we take delivery tomorrow. They had just completed a partial nose PPF with additional coverage on the lower sides, and I was able to take pics of the brakes in the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS pkg. They look like 4 piston calipers to me....

So I did notice this thread from last October that might also give some insight that the CLE 53 were always 4 piston?

https://mbworld.org/forums/cle-class...king-news.html

Either way, between this and the photo, it looks like they're 4 piston.

I could have sworn in that package the calipers were upgraded to 6 pistion and the rotors were larger....now the package only state "Red-painted brake calipers...."

The "Standard" brakes are:
"AMG High-performance Braking System"

Using principles proven in racing, the braking components are engineered for enduring stopping power in high-performance driving. Perforated and ventilated 14.6-inch front discs are grasped by powerful 4-piston fixed calipers finished with silver paint and black AMG logos. The rear discs are also perforated and ventilated, and measure 14.2 inches."

Brake info from an older thread....

There is no change to the AMG Dynamic Plus Package brakes and rotors from 2025 to 2026. This is the information I was able to get from people that would know.

The Dynamic Plus Package on all model years of the AMG CLE 53 includes red brake calipers with black AMG lettering featuring six pistons as opposed to the standard silver brake calipers that have four pistons. Have addressed this issue before with a recent summary on the Dynamic Plus Package thread linked below:

https://mbworld.org/forums/cle-class...ot-adding.html

While the current 2026 configurator description of the Dynamic Plus Package (as with those before it including the last 2025 version) is woefully vague, the official 2025 Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe Quick Reference Guide clearly states the difference. There is no reason to believe anything has changed for 2026.

https://media.mbusa.com/releases/rel...eference-guide

Some configurator versions including MY25 had images with text depicting both the standard and Dynamic Plus Package brakes that were more explanatory. Examples were included in the previous two MBWorld threads linked in the above post and are shown again below. The Dynamic Plus Package caliper image shown on the latest 2026 configurator is identical while the text is void of detail as witnessed before going back to MY24. I can see where the exterior shape of the larger caliper could lead to the belief that it’s a four piston design, it isn’t. Other visual differences between the two images depict the significant difference in size.

Hey what was the concensus on the steering wheel. Any chance 2026 swaps it out for something with physical buttons?

The steering wheel pic is an error in the configurator. Just took delivery of my 2026 CLE53 and it has the AMG steering wheel with touch controls. Sorry for not linking the reply to that question.
