Trading in BMW 760i for this puppy

Trading in my fully loaded 7 series BMW for this puppy. I am excited, being produced the end of September, hopefully at my doorstep in October/November.

Here are some pictures off the configurator and my build sheet.

I am very excited for this journey and looking forward to getting behind the wheel and having fun.

Congrats looks nice and seems fully loaded. I've always wondered does MB discount the performance studio package if you order that plus the carbon fiber II package? Seems they should since it's the same larger spoiler in both packages so I assume they give you the carbon fiber one and delete the black one which seems to be a large part of the overall studio package. What is the active trunk divider I think I saw? Is that on convertible only?

Can you get that convertible with a black top? Too much red for my taste....

Congrats though. My wife takes delivery of her 2026 CLE 53 AMG Coupe beginning of September....it's already at port.

Yes, I saw that too, the carbon fiber is replacing a lot of the black and I would suppose they took that into consideration, but who knows. It is what it is.

Congrats on your wife's car.

You can definitely order it with a black top and I went through this decision I can't tell you how many times. In the end, I decided on the red top because I always get the classic colored cars and I feel for once I want to do something a little more dramatic. I am ok with all the red.

Very nice color combo which I toyed with for my car ,but I decided on the reverse with Patagonia red , black top and power red seats .
How was your 760 , just curious why you changed or did you want the convertible ?

I love the Patagonia red, I looked at that many times during this decision.

I also love my 760i, it is a phenomenal car but the lease is up in 2 months. The LCI, like the S class, will be next year so I figured I would have fun with this now.

LovinMercedes,
in my HO, I would not purchase the 20-inch AMG multipole Y-design, black nor with black accents rims.
They look nice, but they are very time consuming and difficult to clean, complicated process, a constant for me.
Had I had a choice in 2024, I would have spent the extra money for the forged wheels.
Otherwise a great GT.

Dr. Beasley's Matte Wheel Cleanser works great for me....

Bottle of matte wheel cleanser against white background.

Thank you. I looked at the forged wheels and while nice, just didn't like them as much. It wasn't a money issue, I just don't like them as much in terms of how they look.

I agree. I have those wheels with the chrome accents and I cannot access the barrel of the wheel to clean.
Nor can I access the caliper. I won’t spend hours trying to clean the wheels and I’m a fanatic.
I resigned myself to having them coated every year. I can only clean the outside of those wheels.
For full disclosure, the car was ordered by the dealer. I would have ordered the forged wheels.

About a year ago, MB changed their production codes. Does anyone have the new ones?

I think that spec is absolutely beautiful. I love the black with red top, red calipers and red interior. It's definitely flashy, but in a good way. Looking at your sheet, that is a $100,000 car if I've ever seen one. Congrats!

I own the '25 CLE 53 AMG in Alpine Grey and while I think it is gorgeous, the grey has gotten so popular, it's starting to look like some other cars on the road (at first glance). I really wanted either Sterling Blue Magno or the Graphite Grey Magno, but I was scared off by potential scratch and paint matching, as well as difficulty in keeping those colors clean. ENJOY!

Thank you very much, appreciated! I agree on the Magno colors, they are temping but I think in the end, too many issues.

full front PPF and ceramic over rest. No issues to clean or maintain. Like any other paint. I got magno gray. Looks great and gets attention.

I have them and love them and with a pressure washer they are easily cleaned.

Car got frozen on 9/1, production 9/30. That sounds like a long time in advance, wonder if they are moving it up?

Sorry I don't know that date. 11/26 I got the first build sheet and noticed they changed my steering wheel to heated. MB said it was a parts availability issue and there would be no charge. Then a few weeks later they resolved the parts issue put back my unheated wheel.... I never requested any other changes.

I suspect I could have requested changes between 11/26 and 2/17 but parts availability could have pushed the build date?

Good luck. The waiting is tough.....
