Ugh. So I get into my 2026 CLE53 this morning and get this message:
I am bringing it in tomorrow to the dealership. Anyone know what this may be? I am hoping just a weird glitch, but not happy when this happens on a car with 2000 miles.. :-(

I would be a faulty sensor of some sort...or something along those lines. That's why they make warranties! PAIN in the bootie, however, beats having a broken car.

Per the dealer- "Pressure regulation valve for the coolant system" They will perform the repair and I'll pick it back up tomorrow. FIngers crossed this is it and no more issues arise.

Back in the shop for the same message. This time they told me it is the Low-Temperature coolant pump. They are replacing. Strike 2!! The car has 3,100 miles on it and now has been in the shop twice for the same issue. I guess they have one more chance to fix it..:-/
What engine do you have? A guy I work with in is wives car is on her fourth (yes, 4) engine under warranty. Starting with that message (hers is not a '16). It is a 2.0 4cyl.
This issue came up on my custom order 2026 CLE 53 a few days ago after I washed it for the first time. The car has 235 miles on it. I used a pressure washer and sprayed the front grille, but not from a very close distance.
After starting the car, I received a yellow “cooling malfunction” warning message, and the cooling fan immediately kicked on at full speed, it was extremely loud. I let the car sit and dry for about four hours before trying again, but the problem persisted. I tried again the next morning and experienced the same issue.
I suspected water might have caused it for sure. I used a basic scanner to clear the fault code, and since then the car has been fine and no message. I live about three hours away from the nearest dealership; otherwise, I would have taken it in for inspection. I really like the car, I baby it a lot, I hope I don't run into more issues since I'm very far from the dealership.
