Type-R? You must be a noob. It's adding a V8 Kompressor badge on the fenders and putting an AMG emblem on the rear as well as the CLK55 badge.

On a '99? That would be cheesy 'cause there would be too many exterior/interior differences to get by with that one...

In all seriousness, get some shocks and springs...CLKs and SLKs have awful handling but some Konis and H&Rs will fix that up.

Go to www.sppedtuningusa.com or upsolute.com and find the closest location and get chipped for less than $300 for ~25hp. Thats my next move.

No... Evosport Pulley kit, best bang for your buck, installed it on my old CLK430 and damn... what a difference... for about 380 bucks you can experience gains to up to 13 HP to the wheels.

I got my chip installed yesterday at Speed Tuning USA and I felt a big difference. It has been the cheapest mod for my car ($300+shop costs+tax) and is definitely the best bang for the buck in terms of mods I have done. I talked to the owner and worked out a group buy for anyone thats interested. We need 10 people and we get 30% off (he will refund me 30% of what I already paid as well). All info can be found at www.speedtuningusa.com The website says you gain 21hp. Thats ~$10/hp. You cant beat that! Anyways just let me know if you are interested. I think I will do the ev*sport pulleys next.
