Installing Lorinser Bumper, what Fog Lights?

I bought a used lorinser bumper off ebay without any foglights. I was wondering what kind I should get. I'd rather stay away from the pep boys brand of foglights, but don't want to spend too much. Any ideas?

Josh K, who posts on this site under that screename, has some cool fogs on his ride. I think he has Carlsson front bumper but size of his fogs may suit your Lorinser as well. I think his have the "halo" looking ring of light around the edge of the projector when it's lit. Look around for one of his posts and there will be a link in his signature to his gallery where pics of his 430 are posted.

you can pick up ones that fit perfect with the Carlsson from pep boys for about 60 bucks and they're made by Hella.

Sorry I didn't get back to you - I've been running around like a madman lately.

As gate1way2 said, the fogs in my RS bumper are Optilux foglights (Made by Hella) and they're available at Pep Boys. They shouldn't run more than 60 bucks. Make sure you test the angel eyes before you leave the store to make sure both work (the box has a built in switch/battery that lets you test them).

If Angel Eye's aren't your cup of tea, any 4" round foglight will work with the Carlsson kit.

Lorinser kits require Lorinser fogs. They're larger than 4" and not perfect, flat circles, so their lights are the only ones that will fit in there and not look tacky.

CLKonDUBS, I'll answer your other questions via PM

Yeah, that's probably the same one. I haven't got the bumper in yet, but I don't think it would be too hard to repair, maybe a couple hundred bucks or so. I will let you know how it fits and definately post some pics after the install...

Man that sux that you have to use the lorinser foglight for it to look good. I would rather have Josh's halo looking ones. Well, maybe I can rig something up, we'll see...

Ha, yeah I think that was me. I ordered the AMG front bumper, and it was in pretty good shape, nothing wrong with it. But the lorinser one is really what I wanted, so I picked this one for $500 when I saw it. I've got the AMG as a backup now in case this one is in too bad of shape. I've still got to find some side skirts around somewhere. So hopefully I'll have a lorinser front, AMG sides, and AMG rear all completed in a month or so... Did you end up ordering from that guy?

Hella Foglights

The clear lens cover on my fog lights on my Lorinser bumper say Hella on it. I got the kit used so I don't know if the entire fixture is Hella or just the clear lens cover. You might want to check with Hella to see if they have a cheaper setup that will fit.
