i have never come across this beautiful color in a 430, my desired car, just wondering if there were some out there? i guess ill just get the color in a 320 and add the amg package

nvm i found the car i was thinking of in the picture thread and its a 320. its quartz blue a sort of purple-ish color? my sister's boyfriend's mother has a clk430 that is a really nice purple color. not sure if its quartz blue though...never seen that color. she's selling it, but it's been in an accident so dunno if you would still be interested.

Personally I would choose your car based on the engine first and the color second....

well im not really a car freak, i have knowledge of cars but all i really want the clk for is the body, which has by far been my favorite car since 00, what kind of accident has her car been in? any pics?

hmm im pretty sure thats the color of her car. her brother rear ended someone so the front end was damaged. i dunno much about it though so i'm not sure if, in the accident, someone damaged the back end of the car too. i don't have any pics but i can probably take some the next time she's down here from tampa. bklyn - do you happen to know whose car that is, or if they might be interested in selling?

which one are you talking about? the orion blue clk55 is from an old school member here saif who hasnt posted here in a while and the quartz blue 430 belonged to kmoneill9 and he was actually selling it a few years back but i dont know what happened with it.

I own a 2003 Quartz Blue Convertible CLK430. They do exist. I don't see many in that color that is why I chose it. Got the blue top as well. Color looks very blue in sun and more of a blue purple in darker situations. I always get comments about the color.
