those may be angel eye lights/fog lights, but, they aren't going to fit the Lorinser kits...

Hey mmgrad,
With all due respect you have to think outside the box in some cases and this is one.

The typical angel eye is 4 inch round.. The lorinser fogs are close in size so with a little bit of modifcation you can make it work... I have personally fit and installed aftermarket fogs in my S500... I am on my 3rd set and all were different sizes and my car stock does not even have them at all so I had to run wire and switch as well....If you want to go with a certain light that lorinser or brabus or anyone does not make you simply measure the hole size and by something that will fit.. It is actually pretty easy

ps. Measure that puppy and let me know what is 808-E-320

thinking outside the box is fine and dandy... i don't mine saving a few bucks either

however, the lorinser lights are almost 6 inches wide... thats quite different from the 4" angel eyes... plus, you have to consider the base mounting points on the lorinser kit versus what is offered on these makeshift angel eye kits...

but hey, if anyone can creatively make an alternative to the $400 lorinser lights, by all means... I'm all ears...

btw, my buddy just helped me order some replacement covers for my lights, and boy... my old lights (5 months old) were WAYYY pitted (glass lens)... after i put on the new lights, i went and put on some StonGard light protectors... NO MORE PITTING

Right on mmgrad.

Wow, If they are six inches ... I think he will be rocking the Lorinser stockers... No one is making an angel eye that big. Man that is huge..
But the good news is you still can run the 4's centered in the hole.. A definite custom install but can be done and angel eyes fogs will kill in the Lorinser bumper like mmgrad's . BTW... Great taste on your ride mmgrad

thanks for the compliments...

i think, if you can find a nice set of foglights you like, i'm sure you can retrofit some kind of a mesh to fit in that area and center a smaller fog light in there and the space should fill up nicely...

Keep in mind that Lorinser does not actually make the fog light for the bumper. I do not recall which company does, but if you can find out, I'm sure you can save a considerable amount of cash.

Only got to capture this before geocities bandwidth limiter kicked in. Hoping
to get back in and save the zoomed photos as well. But here is a creative,
home brew set of instructions for angel eyes. -- direct link to the original
page is appended to the PDF.

While creative, those angel eyes will unfortunately not have the aestheticly appealing results that most are looking for. I worked with the creator of the aftermarket DDE kits for BMW's in creating a VW GTI kit, so I have some insight into how it is properly done. Chances are, a ring has already been made in a size that would work. What is the outer-diameter that you need?
