Question Best diecast replica?

Hi folks, I'm looking to purchase any scale in black before the diecsat models get updated with the new clk. Any brands I should be looking for? Any reputable online sites?

Can't wait to showcase my baby on the desk!

I've never seen any good diecast CLKs. I ususally see ugly green CLK cabs only or tiny ugly pre 2000 models. They have a few on ebay, but dunno how good they are. Sharperimage.com has them also.
I've seen a lot of very nice CLK GTR die casts though. SharperImage carries those also and I have one from there.

It's not black, but i've got a blue CLK AMG model in 1:18 from Anso. It's not nearly as good as Autoart, but it's still very nice. It's the only 1:18 die-cast model i've seen taht includes the AMG bodykit, wheels, and exhaust. The doors and hood open, and the steering wheel is functional.

I picked mine up from ebay for about $18. I've also got a CLK-GTR and CLK-DTM that I showcase on my desk. They make a nice set.

I'm going to try to attach a picture, apologies if it doesn't show up.

I think Minichamps will have the best die-cast models.

they are 1:43? i think..not big...but very detailed.

if you live in Canada, Toronto...go to Pacific Mall. there is a model shop inside that sells Minichamps. or if you are in HOng Kong try the malle outside the KCR station.

i bought 2 Die-cast CLK-DTM models from them..yet to find the new E class this summer. here's one

everybody - thanks for your help. I will check out Pacific Mall - nice to know that there is a fellow Toronto-ian on board!

Here is a really good link for CLK models that I found from a general search on this board - expensive but nice:

http://www.store.yahoo.com/europromo...orfacprom.html

Also www.diecastcountry.com and www.collectiblediecast.com has good selection.

Wasn't able to find any Canadian sites. Let me know if you order from any of the above.
