MY 02 CLK430 RECENTLY STARTED IDLING ROUGH FOR 5-10 SECONDS THEN RETURNING TO NORMAL. THE CAR IS NORMAL WHILE DRIVING, THEN,WHEN WAITING AT A SIGNAL FOR 1-2 MINUTES, IDLE GETS ROUGH, RPM DROPS FOR 5-10 SECONDS, THEN ITS NORMAL AGAIN. IF STILL STUCK AT SIGNAL FOR 1-2 MINUTES MORE IT WILL DO IT AGAIN. I CLEANED THE MAF PER ALBERT'S INSTRUCTIONAL AND CHANGED FUEL FILTER. I AM ORIGINAL OWNER, CAR HAS 150,000 MILES. PLUGS CHANGED AT 100,000. NO MALFUNCTION LIGHT OR CHECK ENG LIGHT. LOOKING FOR IDEAS, THANKS.




Flat head between the wood and dash, a little prying and it pops out. You can hold the trim and pop the rest out easily by slightly pulling on the part you already got free. I started on passenger side and went towards drivers. Replace in reverse.

) so now my passengers side looks very flush and clean while my side has the ugly white plastic bit showing around the keyhole. any help on sourcing these parts??




To correct the problem each time I reseated the air box atop the engine. I think the fresh air leak was affecting MAF sensor.

I am running OEM xenon and like the look but they don't have any punch. I have to use fogs/driving lamps on unlit roads. The xenon has a stunning appearance though. I am considering projectors, most of my commuting is at night.
