Anyone take their cars to carwashes?
Does anyone trust and take their cars to a carwash on a regular basis? I've had bad experience with them so I decided to wash myself but it takes too damn long.(1hr) Wash and Wax on the same day. Fuggetaboutit!

I always wash my car by myself. I live in a loft and don't have access to a hose so I have to use one of those coin op self wash systems... Also those drive in washes scratch the f**k out of your car.

I made the mistake of not checking off the box that tells the dealer not to wash the car and not only did they strip the zaino off the car. They also managed to put a bunch of swirl marks all over. That will cost me a good 4+ hours of washing and waxing...

I've taken mine to the same hand wash every weekend for over a year and it's always been excellent work at $15 a wash. Their waxings have been top notch as well.

Unfortunately, lots of "hand car wash" places around here are converted machine wash where they still run your car through the rails where they have several guys in the machine area to soap and wipe the car. It freaks me out when they try to fit my 9.5 rims through the rails to get through the car wash.

another 20 cents more per gallon. A gallon of gas(premium) nowadays will vary from $3-$3.20. and you pour your own damn gas. At the rate we're going by next year, it'll break the $4 mark.
