Question Brighter/whiter fog lamps for CLK320?

Has anyone upgraded thier stock CLK320 fog lamps to brighter/whiter ones? Plese make some reccomendations if you know of any.
I have Xenon main lamps, and I just dont like how dull and yellow the fog lamps look. I've actually fully taken out my city lights becuase I couldnt stand thier dullness.

Thanks

I've got Philips BlueVisions in the fogs and they are VERY white. You can get them at: http://www.powerbulbs.com/

Question:

The CLK comes standard with 55W H7 bulbs for low and high beams.

Anyone here try/tried popping in 100W H7 bulbs? Will there be any electrical issues?

I just want to squeeze a little more light out of those big headlight housings.

All of them, as much as I can...
CAUTION!

The brighter white H3 or H1 foglamp replacements like the PIAA extreme whites are indeed brighter and whiter but do not work as well when used in conditions the lamps were designed for: fog or heavy mist or rain. They actually create more glare. Ideally, the foglamps should emit a yellower light.
I originally switched to PIAA extremes since they match the color temperature of the factory HIDs, then found them useless in fog and switched to
Ion Crystal PIAA H3s that emit a very bright amber light. You can find them here...

I tried putting in Japanese "off road" 100W H7s on a ML430 and they were great...for about 3 months (maybe 100 hours) then they started to turn yellowish. When I opened them up, the heat had actually burned the coating on the bulb. I then switched to PIAA extreme white, which I think has the blue tint impregnated onto the crystal. They were 55W but xenon gas-charged; making them emit the equivalent of about 85W. Lasted much longer although not as "blue-white". When it was time to turn in the ML, I took the H7s out and used them for high beams on the CLK55. Pretty close match to the HID low beams and extremely bright.

techbike: that was exactly the answer i was looking for.

One question though. Was the 100W Jap bulb brighter or the 55W Extreme White from PIAA?

one more question about aftermarket lights.

Anyone here tried installing an Aftermarket HID or Xenon kit to their CLK?

AS I remember, the 100W bulbs were indeed brighter for a short while. Bang for buck, I'd go with the PIAAs.
This was the 100Watter, I think...

APC White

and this is what I recommend...

55W=110W PIAA

I use Catz Zeta HID Bulbs, I think they're 100W or 70W..don't remember, it's been almost a year now since I've had them. They emit a purplish tint but not excessive. However, they ARE brighter than stock and whiter, definitely.
