Finally got rims on my car. 56k stay away.

Hey you guys, first time really posting a good thread. Just put new wheels on my car.

They're Sevas S Stars. 19x8.5 and 9.5 in the rear. Front offset is 35 rear is 40, but I put some 10mm spacers in the rear.

I know I need a drop, that's coming soon, as well as new rotors and painted calipers.

Leave comments.

BTW, I know my pictures didn't come out well. Bad location, bad lighting, and no post editing.

That looks nice and you're right you do need a drop, BAD! Other than that it looks real nice. What made you go with the black wheels?

It looks good. It will look even better when you get your suspension put in. Maybe tint the white part of the taillights? Black wheels always look better in person.

The rims are hot but you do need something else black on the car maybe a cf hood painted Black or twotone? Black rims dont go well with all silver cars. It makes it look like you have 4 (beautiful) spares on lol. once you start modding they will be the ***** though. Congrats and good luck.

not stock.
some quick easy mods that will make a WORLD of difference....

1. Springs
2. color-match front orange bumper reflector to body color
3. Smoke-out turn signal on rear view-mirror
4. Smoke-out white signal on rear taillights
5. Flat-hood emblem
6. Black-out grill maybe???

those things should make a TON of difference, but I think you started out in the correct direction....

thanks for all the comments. just started modding the clk, was gonna sell it but decided to keep it.

i'll be at school for the next few months, i'll get my drop done probably during thanksgiving break.

i'll have tinted tails and the sidemirrors, possibly 20% tint on the windows. im going to take off all the emblems and grill and sand them and then paint them black myself.

i personally actually like the hood emblem instead of the flat badge.

just ordered all new bulbs for the car, so that should be on in the next few days.

again, i'd like to thank bb for the rims.

Those look like Yokohama AVS ES100 tires. How long have you had them, and what's your opinion so far? Any issues with tramlining (the tires following the longitudinal grooves in the road)? Thanks

Nice wheels but Black rims with chome lips look best on red or black cars.

Oh and dont tint the white part of your tailights, will make your reversing a load more difficult. Smoke your tailights tint your windows, get clear corners... Anything to put more black on your car.

Hey Marcus,

The tires are actually different on the fronts and rears. I got the rims and tires from blackbenzz, he had the fronts with nankang nsIIs and the rears are toyo proxes.

I've been driving on them for the past three days and have put near 300 miles on them. I think the nankangs are very noisy and tramline a little bit, the toyos i think are pretty quiet.

The sidewalls are pretty stiff so cornering feels a lot better in comparison to my stock 17's with michelin pilot sport a/s. Those sidewalls were butter soft and made the car understeer like noneother.

Don't worry DarkCreep, I will have a lot more black and smoked items on the vehicle asap. Hopefully if I have enough time this weekend I'll tint my tails, and the sidemarkers on the side mirrors. I'll get clear corners and tint those later.

I just ordered a lot of bulbs, so I'll be modding slowly.

I'm still debating tinting my windows, I drive 95% of the time with the top down and windows down, and actually really like the blue hue the windows have stock.
