Sorry, no supermodels or anything at this one because of the rain. Well it was just a bunch of friends that got tegether and took some pics at a friends house. I was the only benz there and I look stock so no biggie. Curtis is an EXCELLENT photographer and some of the pics he takes could easily be made into posters. He has a sick M3 too and we are on the same show team (Eurowerkz). Most of the guys at the hsoot are on the team. Anyways, here's a link to some of the pics that Curtis took that day(there are other pics too if you want to see them): http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=405012

Benzz - the pics of your new undercover sledgehammer are awesome. Until your moditis seeps in to your new ride, no one will ever suspect that they're about to get nuked. And to PIMP it all off - the blown 55 can stay home and rest while you drive your other siiiickkkk ride SWEEEEEETT.

HeyBB
I don't understand the LSD. Did they have to remove the ESP or do they work together? Is it dedicated or is there a switch like our ESP? Can you feel a difference?

Thanks for all the compliments.
Lowphat- you're kleemann has always been my favorite in the area. When I first saw your car I was like You need to come to some more meets when you get some time. You have everything you could possibly want on that car. You have kleemann springs right? I think your car is alot lower than mine, I wonder why. Wanna sell the HRE's yet?
TK- LSD is a limited slip differential. It works all the time (no switch). The ESP still works fine. You basically get power to both wheels instead of one and it helps with launching your car. I still have a really hard time launching without wheel spin. If I hit it at 30mph with traction off I will lose traction instantly and the tail end will just start dancing. I definitely need drag radials. These PS2's aint cuttin it. Do I notice a difference between the 430 and the 55? HELL YEAAAAAA! Surprisingly one of the biggest differences is the brakes. The 55 stops SO much faster than my 430.

Stock brakes? IIRC, Autoweek tested the 60-0 braking on the W208 CLK55 (Ate w/2-piece rotors) and recorded a stopping distance of just 112ft., matching the stopping distance for the Porsche Boxster!

Yes, the stock brakes are very good for the street. For the track, some improvements would be necessary to reduce fade in race conditions.

FWIW, the W209 CLK55 has factory Brembos, but can "only" manage to stop from 60mph in 117ft.
