I was wondering if anyone here has recorded their CLK55 with stock exhaust and RB Tech exhaust? Just curious about what is sounds like before spending the money.
2: Has anyone here done a rear end gear change? If so, did you do a 1/4 mile run before and after??
Thanks

Out Of Control!!
I have the RBTech exhaust on a 430 (same exact kit). It's much loader and throatier than the AMG muffler you have. I have to sell mine because it won't fit the kit I'm getting. If you're interested, give me an email Mach430@adelphia.net. I'll be selling it with 2 resonators and complete piping (already welded).
What kit are you getting that the exhaust won`t fit? I don`t know what you mean.

1. The RBtech system is very loud. Although the stock is system is very quiet. Replace the stock resonator with a straight pipe or twin performane resonators. Supersprint exhaust for the CLK55 is coming soon.1: I was wondering if anyone here has recorded their CLK55 with stock exhaust and RB Tech exhaust? 2. Yes. Depending on the gearing you use, we've done both a 3.07 and 3.27 change. 1/4 time normally drops b/w 0.3-0.5s. For specific questions on the sport differentials, please email me at simon@evosport.com.
What if you leave the stock AMG muffler and just replace the resonators with a straight pipe??

If you leave the stock muffler and remove the resonator you will get a noticibly deeper, more throaty sound, Also a little louder a guess. But it should sound nicer then it is now, and give you a little improvment in performance.
So then why doesn`t everyone just remove the resonators instaed of spending the money on a complete system?
Mr. Vanos......why did you mention Supersprint? You think it will be better than the RB Tech???
