So I finally changed the spring pads...pics...
was nice compared to the cost of a full drop. I just changed the front ones.
They were #4 when we got them out, and I replaced them with #1. As you
can see from the pics, it did take away some of the gap and it now sits
perfectly level rather than having the front higher than the back (like most of
our cars set stock). Anyhow, I just thought I would share the results.

1) No change in handling, although you can feel that the car is slightly lower than before. You would need stiffer springs in order to feel anything in turns and so forth.
2) I had help from two of my buddies that own a shop and have a lift. Saved time and back break. It definitely isn't easy, but it's possible. Even with a regular POS spring compressor that almost fell apart on us will work. We made it work, and we didn't break or bend anything. Took us about 45 min. each side.
