Linh, I appreciate your input from the Kleeman post, but you do seem a tad harsh, is there a reason why you do not like Kleeman stuff? Did you have a bad experience with a certain part? Or maybe a bad sales person?

I'm just trying to understand where you are coming from.

Thanks.

linh - if you dont like ben or kleeman or evosport dont post.....

stick to subjects you have a positive interest in - all tuning is subjective and about improving driver "feel" and confidence..

why make it a battlefield?

I could care less about modifiying a car, and I am going to say this. Spending more than $10k to mod a car is pointless because for $10k or more you can buy a better car without void warranty.

BTW I'm not against it either because people have different taste.

Besides, no one was lying. Mach430 claimed his numbers as '4s and 12s', as Kleemann can also claim '4s and 12s.' Both are correct but Linh's point was Kleeman was more specific with the 4.6s. If Mach430 claimed 4.6s then he could be lying, but the point, again, was he didn't and he only said '4s and 12s.'

I know this was already stated but putting it another way might help 'some' people understand. Clarifications on what '4s and 12s' meant is where this all stemmed from. Of course, the same characters have already had previous encounters, both in this forum and the other, so I'm not too surprised.

Let's just hang out at the OT forum and chill.

Actually "4s and 12s" is what Linh is having a problem with. He is interpreting it as "4.0 seconds" and "12.0 seconds", not what Ben meant at 4's, and 12's and calling Ben a liar about it. The deciding point really is that Ben used the preposition "in the", so that now turns the meaning to mean "in the 4's" and "in the 12's".

Now, I have no clue as to why someone would argue why a 43K wouldn't do something in the 4's and 12's, as I'm pretty sure that is where it would be. So yes, it does look like he is telling the truth there. Not sure where linh is coming off calling someone a liar (or 'lair', whatever that is) either as it looks pretty obvious everyone else is understood as well. Whats the point ?

i think lihn knew exactly what ben meant when he posted in the 4s and 12s, and nothing ben could say would change his mind at this point, logic and reason dont apply, its a grudge....

Well let look at it this way, if a salesman told you that you will get numbers in the 4s and 12s after the 16k upgrade. And after shelling out 16k you find the actual number is 4.9s and 12.9s wouldn't you be a little upset especially if you know that the salesman knew the exactly number were 4.9s and 12.9s but didn't reveal that to you. I think it's a great gesture for Ben to invite someone for a test drive to show that there is more to the Kleeman upgrade than just raw numbers but it would have been better if Ben gave more exact number and pointed the user to the Car and Driver article and then invited the user for a test driver. I don't consider Ben a liar though, he just didn't gave out enough detail and I think that's what bothering linh. Why it's bothering him so much to the point he is flaming Ben, I don't know maybe it's personal.
