How much did you pay to mold your bumper and exactly where did you join the 2 bumpers? I was quoted 15 labor hours just for the molding part. Thats almost $3k for a bumper (price of AMG bumper + carlsson bumper + molding + paint + install/removal)

That was either the worlds ****tiest mold, or they used an E-class for the mold.

I've been looking around at all the aftermarket fiberglass crap out there and it seems a million dollar business annually if not more to invest in a urethane molding system. I'm nearly ready to buy the building. Hell I already own 3 storefronts, what's one production warehouse?

 

What do the bumpers look like. I want a better bumper, but new to Mercedes.

I may have a set of RS sideskirts for sale in the near future I got from Felix a few years ago. They are primered, ready to be painted. I replaced them with a set of authentic Brabus ones.

CLKonDUBS- I dont see why not . I'll try to find out how much Felix wants for shipping from Indonesia but he told me the c/f diffuser itself was $150. Just remember that you will also have to split the customs with the rest of us and pay for shipping from NY.

TheJury- If you're serious about making polyurethane bumpers I'll go half on it with you. I want to do it but dont have a clue as to how to go about it.

 

I want a front bumper. Do I need a diffuser? Is the diffuser only for the rear? Anyone have a pic?

The rear bumper comes with a fiberglass diffuser. If you want the carbon fiber diffuser its an additional $150. The front bumper does NOT have a diffuser. I will snap a pic when I get off of work. Warning: my car is filthy!
