Yeah I got the 8000K HID kit for my fogs on my car. I think it made a big difference and it looks better with the xenon headlighs as well.

did you use the HID kit for your other set of lights as well? (the smaller ones next to your headlights...i don't recall their technical name.....city lights? daytime running lights? parking lights?....whatever.....)

I used LED's for mine, they are a perfect match to 6000K HID headlights.

Where could I pick up the HID foglights? Ebay? or could I just replace the bulb if possible, how bout the 'inner' lights, do you change the bulb?

Kinda interested, for some reason tho, my fog lights come out to looking orangish, anybody elses fog lights on their CLK430 (or 320) appear that way?

I have LED's in my City Lights, and 4000K bulbs for my foglights. I want the fogs to be a better match for the headlights which are Philips Ultinon 6000K HID replacement bulbs. The city/headlights are a perfect match. I should snap some pics myself, most likely this weekend.

Thank You, I bought the kit from eBay from a seller called stillenmaxima. There are no mods needed, you unplug the power goin to youre stock fogs and plug it in to the HID box.

Aren't those fog on our car running with h3 bulbs? How were you able to fit the h1 in there? Where you able to close the cap after installing the h1 kit? Do you mind snapping a couple of pics from behind so we can see how it was installed. Thanks.

I'm sure we can post it as a diy as well.

When I turn my car off and get out, after the lights have been on I close the door and the city and foglights come back on for 30 seconds....

Does your car still do this with the HID's?

I have the amg bodykit and the foglights have h3 in them. I first thought it was h1 too but when you put the h1 on, you cannot close the cap. Can anyone chime in on this?

As far as I know, and I'm pretty sure I'm right, the 320's take a H1 and the 430's/55's use a H3.

And you were able to close that cap? This is weird. I think I still have the h1 bulbs laying around. I might give that another try.
