oh, and this one too....y do these type-s owners swear they could take a 430...im pretty sure i can take a cl-s or tl-s (each pushin a v6 w/ 260)...the newer TLs wit 270 or the new 07 TL-S may be a problem tho...anyone have experience racing a CL-S or TL-S?

i am a litlle late to this, but i posted beating a 430 as well. and yes, they have an amg kit and wheels. their drivers are just slower because they are so f ing fat and rich that it slows the car down a couple of tenths.
HAHA I thought that was the funniest comment. XD
I'm so gawd damn broke its not even funny.

For 2003 Acura CL Type S, factory 0-60 time is 6.5 seconds.... so I dont know why they think their Honda Deluxe is faster.... amusing none the less.

lol hhaha cool...i was almost driven to create an account and post replies to them but was like ah *** it....

dont get me wrong...they are nice cars though ..i like em and they are quick (my bro has a 1st gen 99 CL modded and we also got a 03 TL ...as seen in my sig)...but i dont think those tl-s or cl-s could really *** wit our 430's....i wonder how a non type-s tl or cl would square up with a clk320 though....they hav 10 hp on the 320 but i dono....

oh and btw ..you already have a response from someone who apparently cant read and thinks your basing your facts on magazines rather than experience....lol...and i think we could give an sl500 a pretty good run for its money...prob lose by a lil bit tho...

Dont base your opinions on mag times. Im sure he beat the CLK430, my uncle has a SL500 and i raced my cousing when he was driving it. The 100k dollar car could not pull on my CL-S with intake and headers. We were pretty much even from 0-100mph. The CLK cant be faster than the SL500.
I dont own the CL-S anymore but it was a 03 5AT and it was no factory freak. Please dont flame on people if you dont have any experience racing one.

that forum I was a member of a few years back is really funny. They ALL think that VTEC is like turbo..... YOu'll hear "wait until my VTEC kicks in..." or "man! i got VTEC! " What they fail to understand is that their cars have a 3.2L V6 , 99% of them which are AUTOMATIC's with a weak-a$$ 2nd and 3rd gear, that only put out 260HP stock.

it's a great daily, comfortable, commuter car though =) I loved my 03' CL-S 6-speed.

Haha well, VTEC is pretty fun to drive, my bro gots a 02' Accord SE 2.0L VTEC, the torque definately is not there but when VTEC does kick in...lol best believe you'll feel the pick up, it's not fast but it's quick, it's a 4-spd AUTO, it's okay, if it was Manual 5-spd....that's a different story.

But I find it hilarious when people like that go "VTEC ALL THE WAY MAN!" "Yo dawg you better watch out when my VTEC kicks in, it's OVER!"
