I have to say it was amazing, I used to drive around town in my 1.8 Peugeot 306 thinking the pick up was all that but when I got in my dads car the speed was unbelievable and even the engine roar to me was beautiful. Now when I sit im my car it feels so damn slow.
I am sorry if this does not interest anyone but I am still on a high from driving it and had to let someone know.
Thank you for listening.

Congrats on your first drive, I still get that feeling @ 24yrs old!! Your next challenge, if you choose to accept: CLK430!! Once you have conquered that feat, just try to pry the keys away from a CLK55 owner~~I haven't completed this one yet!! Good luck!!!

kid, i know the feeling... when i first drove a clk320 about 2 years back, i was very very impressed with the power and agility. salivated over getting one for years, and when the time came, I tested out a 430, and never turned back.
once you experience a V8, you NEVER go back. Well... few exceptions, but not in a CLK

There are not many 430's 500's or 55's of anything in my area and I doubt in nearly the whole country because petrol here is bloody expensive, I can only imagine how fast a CLK55 would be.

hehe...i jumped over the CLK430 and straight into my friend's CLK55 AMG. That thing's torque is a killer. So much fun, but still virtually no steering feed back like my sis's 320.Originally posted by nickv

Many other countries are deprived of the large engines we are blessed with here in the US. I've gone to Belgium, Germany, India. I couldnt believe the dinky little engines they had there. The Belgian company I worked for offered free gas for its employees along with company cars, so it was great for everyone in the office there. Nice cars with dinky engines.

I know how it feels. When I had my 320 a year back, I was amazed and thought "wow!!!"
but I live in van city, a CLk just doesnt' stand up unless you mod it
Plus my school has Clks running around like you wont believe, 430, and 55s just roaming around the campus =)
Still, it's good to have a Clk
